Τα ελάφια της Νάρα
Νομίζω οι περισσότεροι επιλέγουν να ταξιδέψουν στην Ιαπωνία επειδή βλέπουν εκείνη την φουλ επεξεργασμένη φωτογραφία με τα ελάφια ανάμεσα σε κερασοπέταλα στη Νάρα. Η πραγματικότητα δεν είναι ακριβώς έτσι, αλλά η Νάρα παραμένει γλυκούλα.

Mt Pentelicus and Athenian marble
The plains of Athens are encircled by a group of four mountains. Among them is Mount Pentelicus, the second tallest mountain in Attica, situated northeast of the city center. The quarries of Penteli are famed as the source of the marble used in many classical works of art.

Is Xerovouni actually barren?
There are many peaks around Greece with names like Xerovouni (or Xero-whatever). Xero (pronounced ‘ksero’) means dry and barren. Who would have guessed—Greece is surprisingly barren! Today, we’re heading to the island of Evia, about an hour away from Athens, to conquer its very own Xerovouni peak.
