HOW STUFF WORKS: buying a mattress.

Mattresses are usually humongous and inconvenient to move, right? Fear not, because air sucking can now make transportation of a mattress easy as hell. I got my mattress from Nitori (the japanese equivalent of IKEA) and even though I knew what to expect, the compactness of the procedure amazed me nonetheless. The mattress came in a box with around 1m height, only one person carrying it. Inside, it was folded in half and then rolled cutely as a sushi roll. The mattress was covered with a lot of vinyl bags. The whole process was smooth, designed so that one person alone can handle it with ease. Finally, after two long weeks of sleeping on the floor, I can enjoy a good night sleep.
